The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has released the PRT Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2026 notification for 12,405 vacancies under Advertisement No. 05/2026. The recruitment includes 11,508 Assistant Teacher posts in urban primary schools under the Basic Education Department and 897 Assistant Teacher posts in attached primary schools under the Secondary Education Department.

Candidates who have Bachelor Degree in any stream from any recognized university/institution in India.
2 Year BTC / D.El.Ed / B.El.Ed / Special D.El.Ed and STET / CTET (Paper-I) Passed.
Assistant Teacher Attached Primary – Non-Government Aided School:
Candidates who have Bachelor Degree in any stream from any recognized university/institution in India.
B.T.C. or D.El.Ed. recognized by NCTE.
Primary Level UPTET OR CTET Exam Passed.
Candidates who have Bachelor Degree in any stream from any recognized university/institution in India.
